Any of you guys rethinking your night vision purchases? I picked up a night vision scope a year ago and I am now thinking that the money could have been better spent on even more ammo.

That seemed to be the concensus the last time this topic came up.
Flashlights have served me well.

If you don't have some of your other basics already covered, then NV may have been a little premature. If however you have your other basics covered and things go hot, you will have an exponential advantage over 99.5% of any potential threat to you and yours. I rate NV capabilities at the top of the priority list.

It's not whether you can hunt 24/7 as apposed to 12/7 like most people, (although that capability is priceless), it's more like, can you defend yourself against another opponent who has NV capabilities when you don't? I think you know the answer to that.
